![But before the perfect take, this happened…………Band practice, one mic, two singers. Chaos.
Alex: “We’ll just share it. Like professionals. Like Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham before everything went sideways.” [hair flip]
We start singing “Save Me.” All goes well—until the pre-chorus.
BAM. Forehead to forehead.
Annie yells, “Your head moved into my zone!”
Alex: “I knew this would happen.”
Els? Cry-laughing behind the drums, adding cymbal crashes for every flail.
Attempt #2: Annie trips over Alex’s pedal, grabs the mic—straight into her mouth.
“Mmf,” she mumbles.
Alex: “Did you just EAT the mic?”
Els falls off his stool.
We now own two mics. But we kept the cursed one, labeled “The Shared Disaster.”
Sometimes we still bring it out.
And every time, the audience holds its breath:
Will they harmonize?
Will they collide?
Either way…
